Welcome to Buenos Aires Cafe – Este | Reina Morris & Paola Guerrero-Smith

In November 2023, chef and founder of Buenos Aires Café, Reina Morris, and her daughter, Paola Guerrero-Smith, celebrated 18 years of business. It’s hard to believe that they came to Austin in 1997, never expecting to achieve this level of success. Their partnership began as a way to spend quality time together, while indulging in their shared passion for exceptional culinary experiences, live fires, and fine wines.

Looking towards 2024, the pair is thrilled to be launching their new venture: Vinos del Sur. This unique collection of South American wines comprises family-owned and boutique wineries. It’s been a long-held dream of Paola’s to work with small-production wineries in South America and include them in their wine collection. The mission of Vinos del Sur is to showcase the diverse terroir of South America and the incredible quality and value that it provides. They are also launching a wine-tasting club that features the diverse varietals that South America has to offer.

Chef Reina is enjoying the rewards of the hard work she has put in over the years. She is finally able to savor the fruits of her labor and appreciate the success that she has achieved.
