Discover the versatility of single-malt whiskey in this new concoction, which is sure to whisk any scotch aficionado away.
Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey is a grain-to-glass, single-malt whiskeys handcrafted in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. As one of the first American distilleries to produce a single-malt whiskey, Stranahan’s offers the unique flavor palate that comes from American oak barrels and Rocky Mountain water. Their Blue Peak expression is Solera finished, giving it a rich and mellow taste.
The Peak to Peak cocktail, featuring Blue Peak and crafted by mixologist Lucas Townsend, is perfectly suited to this transitional time in Texas weather. The warmth of the whiskey is enough to heat up the cool Austin evenings, but the sweet notes of citrus and freshness of the mint make this chilly drink the perfect salve for the heat. The color evokes endless summer days refreshed with lemonade, though you won’t find this sophistication at a street side stand. A sprig of rosemary bridges the gap between the sweetness of the fruit juice and the oaky notes of the whiskey with its earthy tang.
