Shaman Modifications recently celebrated their 18th year, most of which was spent on the vibrant Eastside. It has been a time of significant change for Austin, the body modification industry, and humans in general, making Pineapple Tangaroa and his team of amazing piercers’ dedication to bodily autonomy and celebrating personal expression in a safe, welcoming environment feel even more important than the day they opened. 

After the stress of the pandemic, Pineapple began working with Kiwi Diamond and the “Hi, How Are You Project” to create the first officially licensed jewelry inspired by Daniel Johnston’s art. The line debuted this year on “Hi, How Are You Day” and is a source of great pride, both creatively and for the opportunity to contribute to “Hi, How Are You Project’s” mission.

Shaman Modifications carries a wide variety of APP-certified, U.S.-made jewelry and has a second Austin location near Cedar Park and a location in Dallas.
