5 Best Cinco de Mayo Celebrations on the Eastside
Cinco de Drinko!
Every year on May 5, we celebrate the Mexican Army’s difficult victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, but this year things are getting turned up a notch because not only is Cinco de Mayo on a Saturday, but it is also the same day as the Kentucky Derby. That means that both bourbon and tequila will be flowing, good music blaring, piñatas swinging, barbeque grilling, and contestants seeing who can eat the most peppers.
So put on your best party hat and get ready for some tequila-filled festivities!
ADP
Austin Daily Press is celebrating the grand opening of their new location on East Cesar Chavez this Saturday. There will be everything you love about the old ADP, plus $1 beers and free hushpuppies ALL DAY!
