Simple Whiskey Sour Recipe for 8
1 c fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 c Hirsch’s The Bivouac
1/2c Old Potrero’s Straight Rye Whiskey
1 1/4 c water
3 T of honey (+/- to taste)
Heat water on the stovetop. Once warm, add honey and stir until melted. (Tip: make a little sweeter than desired sweetness, as the lemon adds plenty of acidity to cut the sugar.) Let cool, then mix all liquids together and serve over ice.
